Rob Chappell has just taken out the Classic Championship held over several rounds.

The finals round was at Pukekohe where several of the team members did an outstanding display of riding.

After a friday night of the compulsary round of Coffee -(Yeah right) Captain Morgan had the guys up and rearing to go on the saturday morning.

The guys were extremely determined to do well with Nick and Graeme Cole not participating this was their time to show how it's done.

They all achieved personal bests and Bruce Hodge pulled an outstanding move on young Matt Hayward. The silent worker caught them all sleeping. Bruce moved up to the front guys giving them the hurry up.

Bryan Dawson showed that the talk he had from Nick went in one ear and stayed there. The expression "You need to bring out the Mongrel in you" really does work. Bryan got his old mo jo back and was back giving the rest of the team a geat battle.

Rob, Ray, Chris, Stephen and co had some great battles at the front giving young Jamie Galway fresh off the National Superbike scene a run for his money. There was loads of laughter the nights after racing which reminds you off the FUN factor that you have with such good friends that you make in classic racing. The Norton Boys were reported to have got up to a lot of mischief around the track. Those yellow shirts stand out boys, for once it wasn't the Red shirts caught causing havoc!!!!.

The Classics are off to Hampton Downs next and then it is Paeroa Street racing where Rob will have to show his skills in the classics as he has to race the 350 against the big boys upto pre 82. Nick will also be there representing the Moderns on his Kawasaki in the Formula Two class. Good luck to all our guys riding there.
