The day started out with Nick and Adam discussing the lines on the circuit as Adam had not ridden here before.
The results say it all for Nick but credit must also go to Adam for how well he rode also.
Adam managed to make it up as far as 5th place which was not an easy task considering the high calibre of riders in the field.
After each race there was smiles from both riders as they were deservably proud of their achievements. Nick was on a wining streak and his determination paid off for him.
Adam had been away from racing also for a while so for him to make it into the top five was more than anybody expected from him. He is obviously like Nick in that they both love Street racing. Not everybody does including Jimmy from the south island #2 in NZ, he found it a bit daunting but his wife managed to encourage him from the sidelines along with the rest of the wives, mums and girlfriends who managed to con our way in in front of some taller guys each race. Thank you to those spectators who let us in and then had five females screeching in their ears and jumping up and down.
Wanganui put on a brilliant day of sunshine and those big screen t.v.s made it a lot easier to know what was going on when the riders went out of sight. The spectators were getting in behingd the riders cheering them on with words of encouragement. The commentator Neil Richie was so excited that a spectator beside me said I beat he's not sitting on a chair because he would have fallen off by now. All the crew that are behind the scences setting up for this day deserve more than a pat on the back for all their hard work.
