It was a wet miserable day. The day was started with a scrub in for everyone then it was practise with Nick making pole position for Supersport class and Adam was further back in the field. Nick then put on his wet weather gear as it was pouring hard and went out for the Superbike practice where his bike aquaplaned on the first lap sending both Nick and the bike several feet into the air.

The back part of the frame was broken off, his new acropavic exhaust system mangled and the fairings broken in many places. Thanks to the rain Nick had no breaks himself.

Adam came in and saw Nicks bike being washed to remove the grass and mud and he was shaking from the cold and not too sure about racing in these type of conditions but he went out for his race and came fourteenth.

Matt then went out for his 150 race and cautiously raced around the track finishing at the back of the class but at least in one piece. Several bikes went down in his race so the officials then let out the Motoards.

After several more bikes came down the officials called a halt to the meeting and with the first round not being completed no points are allocated so this leaves Nick still in the lead for both classes and also Adam comfortably placed. Adam is picking up the skills fast for the supersport class so he is showing good progress ready for the upcoming Nationals.
