The new season is about to start PDF Print E-mail

Coming off the 2010/2011 season found Nick Cole (Superbikes) and Marcus Beagley(600 Supersport) with the number 7 on their bikes. Nick also managed to break a lap record plus top three in the GP so not too bad at all for his first season in Superbikes.

This season 2011/2012 sees

Nick back on a ZX10 Kawasaki only it's the new 2011 model which he straight away noticed the difference between the two models. See below what the first day out acheiced for Nick at the Manfeild Raceway Winter series.I have cut and pasted this from his new Facebook page.

Nick Cole Racing with the support of Red devil Racing of Hamilton had a great 1st day testing with teams new ZX10R 2011. Small amounts of suspension changes with the mechanics getting to grips with new bike layout. loads of power over the old model and handling to boot. Traction control and an increase in power made it a fun day for Nick. Results two firsts and a second. Very positive day. Bring on Queensland!

For those that have not heard yet Nick is off to do the Australian Superbike series last few rounds. The new Kawasaki has been crated up and is on it's way to Australia. Nick will also race the ex Paul Dobbs Norton owned by Peter Lodge in October in America racing at Daytona and The Barber Track against some hot competition like Kevin Schwantz, Doug Polen, our own Andrew Stroud,Dave Cole and Hayden FitzGerald. Then back to racing in Australia.

In NZ he will be doing the Tri Series Hampton Downs, Manfeild and Wanganui Street Circuit. Following that it is straight into our NZ Superbike series in the South Island then back to the North Island for the NZ Classic Festival, Peroa Street Races then the North Island rounds of the NZ Superbike Series.

Nick will be posting updates from overseas on his Face book page" Nick Cole Racing" so that we can all follow his progress.
