Paeroa Street Race
We had a fantastic time at Paeroa with Nick taking the Formula Two class in both races. Nick also came third in the King of the Streets with Craig Sherrifs and Hayden FitzGerald both on Honda 1000s coming first and second respectively. Nick on the 600 couldn't quite catch them on the long front straight.
Adam came fourth and third and we also had Marcus Beagley in our team colours this weekend who as he put it was a virgin to Paeroa Street racing but he managed to finish mid field so that was pleasing.
Nicks fan club was by far the loudiest

NZ Superbike 2010 Round 3 - Timaru

Six points down from the lead and the new tyres have finally arrived so it's all on.

Practise indicates that this should be a hot race with Nick, Jimmy, Karl Morgan and John Ross all close with their practise times. Between practise sessions we suspect the phantom fiddler who has been mysteriously fiddling with bikes had a go at Nicks as the rebound had been completely unwound. There was a bit of this going on in the pits and the phantom idiot does not realise the risk to peoples lives he is playing with.At this stage it put us completely on the back foot as we did not have a race bike set up and there was fustration and anger in the camp. In fact we didn't have it right by the time practise was finished. The only opportunity we had left to verify we had it right was the 3 lap scrub in session. Would you believe it we got it bang on. A special Thanks to Dukic Performance for his expert attention.

Race One and the battle is on. The lights change from red to green and up goes the Kawasaki like a bucking horse. Fifth into the first corner and then second into the next corner and along the back straight sees Jimmy, Nick and John all vying for position. Each lap it changes and the crowd

NZ Superbike 2010 Round 2 - Invercargill

After a night at Aromowana where the usual spooky stories and high jinxs we head off to Invercargill. We did notice that on the community board we saw some wag had added the name of David Grey to the attendance list. But we are not superstitious. Invercargill was cold and so it was a quick practise on practise days and five laps of qualifying which saw Nick set a time of 59.9 and the lap record is 59.8.

Race day dawns and it starts with good humour all around the pits as when we drove in here was the Honda 4 wheeler up on 4 rubbish bins. I guess they won't loan Brain B their machinery again.

NZ Superbike 2010 Round 1 - What a success!

On Saturday we left Hamilton to head to the South Island to compete in the NZ Superbike rounds. After  a pretty uneventful trip we arrived at Christchurch for practise on the tuesday which saw Nick putting in some hot laps. This looks alright but then come friday for  the first of the NZ Superbike rounds and the weather had turned to shite it was  cold and the tyres were just shredding. All the three different suspension guys were having trouble and some pretty hot phone calls to tyre suppliers were going on around the pits. Things were not looking good.

After some discussions at the end of the day our suspension guru Dukie from Dukic performance came up with a idea which ended up being the mother of all solutions.

Thanks to this our top secret plan worked!!!! This saw Nick on pole for the day.

Final Round Taupo Tri Series

Unfortunately being christmas time a lot of the riders had family and work comitments so couldn't make it to this series.

Chris Hyland and Noel Howard were the only Red Devil riders but he did us proud.

Chris was the only little Red Triumph there as Noel was on his big orange Harley due to his bike being still in the development department of Jimmys laboratory.

Sunday was practice day with the 3 hour endurance race int he afternoon. The endurance race was great to watch even with the dodgy weather.

Wanganui Cemetry circuit - The day.

The day started out with Nick and Adam discussing the lines on the circuit as Adam had not ridden here before.

The results say it all for Nick but credit must also go to Adam for how well he rode also.

Adam managed to make it up as far as 5th place which was not an easy task considering the high calibre of riders in the field.
